When the Dot NET universal TLD was first set up in 1985, along with the first domains on the web, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Because there were no specific conditions about the usage of the TLD, though, .NET domains were purchased and used for various purposes and by numerous people. This extension is a good alternative to .COM, especially if the necessary domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.

Getting a dot NET domain with our firm is easy and takes no more than a couple of minutes, given the fact that we are partners with an ICANN-certified registrar. You can obtain such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it after the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are possible for all domain names, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are not locked and that you have received an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures set up by the dot NET Registry to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS contact information of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you don’t want this info to be public at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to obtain your real contact details.
